Overall Background
This is a 4 week course project. Aiming to create loneliness, we developed 3 mini multiplayer games and wrapped them into a game to give them a theme. Following through the footstep of the main character - Daming, players have to beat the 3 multiplayer games by their own, since this game is supposed to be played by only one person. However sad the process could be, the game has a happy ending.
General Game Design & Feature Highlight
Game Design Overview
player follows through the main character - Daming, to experience one day in his miserable life. Three parts of his day will be presented in the form of game, and the rest would be presented in the form of a movie as a walk through. The three games are designed as multiplayer games that can only be played by a single person in order to make the player feel the frustration and lonelyness and build up the empathy for Daming, the main character towards to end.
The Space Invader Game
An 8-bit style mini-game. Players have to try fighting the enemies on the left side of the screen, using the ammo pack they collected on the right side of the screen. Players have to coordinate with both sides of the screen in order to beat the game. After killing 25 enemies, they will face the boss and their main objective is to survive through the battles and defeat the boss.

The Burger Rush Game
A food serving game in which players need to take orders from the customers and calculate the price of the order at the same time within certain amount of time. In order to complete a single order, player has to perform both the ordering and calculating process. The main objective is to fill the satisfaction bar, for which completing order would increase it and any wrong doing would cause it to decrease.

The Soft Kitty Game
A mini game created to both fit the theme and the story line of game. Players have to perform both tasks: hit the correct key with the flow of the music and try keep the mice away from the cat. The main objective of the game is try keep the sleep level bar on the left greater than 0 before the music ends.
